We’re bubbling with excitement and big thanks to our amazing Watershed community.

Water Reservations:

What They Are, Why We Need Them and Why We Care

The 2024 Winter Speaker Series will kick off on Tuesday, October 15th with a presentation about Water Reservations in Alaska.

A scoping comment period has opened for the water reservation system for the State of Alaska. Any changes the current system would have large implications on the existing uses of water in the region. But why are water reservations important? What are they and what role do they play in our state's waterways.

Join the Susitna River Coalition as we welcome Michael Lilly of Geo-Watershed Scientific on Tuesday, October 15th from 6-7PM as he shares his knowledge of Water Reservations in Alaska.

This event will be held on Zoom and FacebookLive.

Thank you to the Jessica Stevens Community Foundation for supporting our Winter Speaker Series!
