Go wild with the Susitna River Coalition in celebration of Wild Salmon Day! Celebrate your love of Alaska salmon at the second annual state-wide Wild Salmon Day. Join fellow Alaskans on the lawn outside of the Susitna Salmon Center on Sunday, August 13, from 10:00-5:00 p.m. for a free family-friendly Wild Salmon Day celebration. We’ll have activities for adults and kids and wild Susitna River salmon samples. There will be fun, interactive ways to experience our watershed as well as opportunities to get involved in protecting it. Join us to celebrate one of Alaska’s greatest salmon producing rivers and the outstanding habitat the watershed provides.
